The scientific programme of HIAT2018 is proposed by a the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), in collaboration with the International Advisory Committee (IAC).

Sessions will begin each day at 08:30 and finish at 18:00, with the exception of Friday 26 Oct., when the conference will finish at around 12:00.

The scientific programme will be composed of ~50 invited and contributed oral presentations, 2 poster sessions. Posters should be set up in the Monday morning from 08:00-09:00 (before the first invited oral session) so they may be visited during the first coffee break. Authors should attend to their posters through the full afternoon poster session period. Since poster sessions are a focal point of the conference, and with the objective of making them as attractive, successful and rewarding as possible, no oral presentations are scheduled in parallel with the poster sessions to allow delegates to follow the full conference programme.

The conference will be held at the Lecture Hall of the Institute of Modern Physics, CAS near the downtown of Lanzhou City. IMP is close to interesting shopping,
site-seeing of the Yellow River and dining options. Located near the Panxuan Crossroad - intersection of the west of Donggang Rd. and Tianshui Rd., at the Middle of  Tianshui Rd. near the Airport Shuttle Bus Station.

WiFi will be available at the conference area. Additionally, several computers will be available at the conference venue for participants from Monday through Friday during conference week.
