General Guide and Introduction

Registration for HIAT2018 is now open, which is categorized into: Regular, Student, and Extra Exhibitor.

A Regular participant is an individual from university, research lab or industry who wants to participate in the full program. The Student participant is a student of PhD, master, or bachelor, enrolled in a university program or a postdoc within 2 years after receiving their PhD degree. The Extra Exhibitor category is open for companies that have already purchased a booth but want to send supplementary industrial representatives to assist the Exhibitor.

Registration Fees:

The registration will be managed through the Conference Management System. To register on-line go to registration page and fill in the personal data (choose the registration type) then get your Registration No. The registration fee amounts are summarized below.

All registration costs are in Chinese Yuan (RMB). Domestic bank transfer are using CNY rate. International bank transfer please only use the EUR rate listed below the CNY rate.

For companion fees includes:
Conference fee can be paid on site (Cash/by POS machine) or via most major credit cards(Visa/Master/Union Pay), internal IMP account transfer and bank transfer (Chinese bank ONLY )during the period of registration. An email confirmation on your registration number will be sent you as long as you have finished the registration procedures.

The registration desk will be open from 4:00-8:00 pm on Sunday Oct. 21st at the Lobby of the BLD 2# of Ning-Wo-Zhuang Hotel. The desk will re-open at the conference venue on Monday, Oct. 22nd from 8:00 am and also be available during the conference hours.


Cancellations have to be submit in e-mail form to All cancellations later than Aug. 22nd, 2018 will be regarded invalid. However, for absence caused by some extenuating circumstances, refunds may be permitted. All refunds will be done by bank transfer, will be dealt with after the conclusion of the conference.

Visa Information

If you are travelling from outside ofChina, you may require a visitor visa to enter. Foreign attendees are stronglyrecommended to apply for the Visa at the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate.Please refer to the Government of Chinawebsite to check  instructions on how to apply.


Official letters of invitation approvedby Chinese Academy Sciences (CAS), which is supported document to give anassistance to apply the Chinese VISA, can be sent (without financialcommitment) upon registered online and indicated the request to local organizingcommittee. (On the registration form there is a placefor you to request a visa letter)

Key Information of the Official Invitation Letters for the VISA application:
•Register for the conference - Completethe Registration Form online
•Request the Official Invitation Letter bythe Registration Form optional button
•Supply the following information toindicate the request at your earliest convenience by sending the email to:
    1. Scanned version of your passport – Personal Information Sheet
    2. Personal CV (Invited speakers, required)

You could use the Official Invitation Letter to apply the Visa at the nearestChinese Embassy/Consulate. Your patience in this process is highly appreciated.Itis important to submit your visa application as soon as possible. Allowsufficient time for processing.
